We are a community service, completely run by volunteer financial advisors, family law attorneys, mediators and counselors, that is open to anyone who wants to learn more about the process of divorce. Our goal is to help reduce the number of women who slip into poverty as a result of divorce because of poor divorce planning, or lack of understanding of the resources, information, or expertise available.

Community Mediation Services (CMS) has been serving Lane County as a non-profit organization since 1982. As mediators we assist parties in conflict by guiding them through an informal dialogue process in which they are empowered to collaboratively create a win-win resolution with each other. Learn from experts in the field who have guided thousands of women through divorce
Meet other women who are experiencing similar life changes
Provide 4 hours of expertise in these areas for only $25, which would normally cost $500- $800.

Second Saturday will help you discover the community and professional resources you need to get through this difficult time. Workshop participants can share their experiences with others, and learn the many things you have available to help you get through the divorce, as well as how to thrive after.

Second Saturday deals with the financial, legal, family and personal issues of divorce in a logical, and compassionate way. With the guidance of trained professionals, you can gain a greater understanding of the confusing and stressful divorce process.

Second Saturday is an excellent supplement to professional advice. This class can help you get prepared and be efficient. You'll have the basic knowledge to understand what process might be best for you, how to gather the information you will need, and getting help with making decisions which can save you time and money.
